Shelter Cave

I was out exploring the Coxcomb area, hiking up different washes as far as I could. I connected to a large wash and followed it down till I got to the base of the rocks. From there, I hiked along the base looking for arches and caves. I happened to come across a cave that had rocks piled up in front of the entrance forming a wall. I could tell the wall had been there for a long long time but I have no idea who built it. It could have been built by a gold prospector around the turn of the century or more than likely native Americans that used caves like this for shelter. Not far from the cave there was another cave that somebody had been excavating looking for Indian artifacts. There was trash left behind along with a screen that was used to sift through the sand which leads me to believe it was people looking to loot the parks archeological sites.
